The Kuvin Foundation works in collaboration with the University of Miami Department of Public Health.

Dr. Sanford Kuvin began his medical career at the University of Miami in 1963 and always had great affection for the University. The MISH Program (Miami, Israel, Science and Health Fellowship) is supported by the Kuvin Foundation.

The program supports travel and work in Israel that is dedicated to the Foundation’s mission — building peace in the Middle East region through science.

The MISH traveling fellowship award supports MPH, MSPH, and MD/MPH students who wish to pursue international travel to Israel as part of their Capstone Program: Field Experience, Capstone Projects, or MSPH Thesis.

The Kuvin Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
